Voice to Book was born from a personal story. In 2018, I met my father for the first time. He shared that he’d been carrying the vision for a book for over two decades but couldn’t get it down on paper.
I encouraged him to speak his story instead of writing it. We began recording voice memos, shaping the book piece by piece. A few months later, he passed away, but because of those recordings, we were able to publish his book From Misery to Hope.
That experience changed everything. It showed me that many people, coaches, therapists, healers, and everyday visionaries, aren’t stuck because they lack wisdom, but because the blank page doesn’t match the way they naturally think and create.
That’s why I created the Voice to Book™Method: a simple, trauma-informed process that turns your spoken story into a structured manuscript. Today, Voice to Book helps people around the world move from stuck to spoken, from idea to outline, and from doubt to done.
I’m Kary Youman, TEDx speaker, trauma-informed recovery coach, husband, and father of two living in Norway. But more than that, I’m someone who believes that your voice is enough.
Because your story matters — and it deserves to be shared.
